Blue Box 2017 will be a one-day conference at the historic Annenberg Community Beach House, a seaside venue with spectacular views of Santa Monica’s famed beach. The program will feature short-format talks, panels and fireside chats. The event will conclude that evening with a cocktail reception and dinner at Gjelina, Travis Lett’s Venice hotspot serving New American farm-to-table cuisine in a rustic setting. Agenda coming soon.

Christopher is co-founder and chief purpose officer of The Honest Company, which was launched in 2012 with a mission to inspire and empower people to live a happy and healthy life. He is also a champion for children’s health, acclaimed author and speaker, and social entrepreneur.
Nick writes about technology, politics, business and culture for Vanity Fair, The New York Times, and CNBC. He has written three books, including the New York Times bestseller, “Hatching Twitter”. His latest book, “American Kingpin”, tells the epic story of the hunt for the Dread Pirate Roberts, creator of The Silk Road marketplace which sold guns and drugs on the dark web.
Jody is an entrepreneur, artist, designer, director, producer, educator, writer and co-founder of WTRMLN WTR, a brand committed to redefining how and what we drink to nourish our bodies and sustain our ecosystem. She is also a partner in GEM&BOLT mezcal, a sustainable spirits company, and founder of experiential design firm Stitch Experience Design and Assembly.

Brian’s writing focuses on organic farming, biotechnology, hunger, and rural communities. He is the author of “Eat Here: Homegrown Pleasures in a Global Supermarket”. He lives in Sag Harbor, New York, where he and his family keep a home garden and raise oysters. He is also the co-creator of Food Loves Tech, an education-by-entertainment innovation expo.
Richard has two decades of global agency and brand experience launching new markets, leading integrated teams and delivering consistent business growth. He joined Epsilon in 2012 as Senior VP of Strategy and Growth and focused primarily on connecting Epsilon’s proprietary assets and innovative tools to the traditional creative function agencies fulfill.

After 25 years of brand, innovation and creative experience, including a 15-year ride at New Belgium Brewery, Greg Owsley has come to the rather simple conclusion that a great brand acts like a story. On this principle, he founded The Storied Brand in 2011 to assist clients in articulating an authentic brand narrative that is remarkable, relevant, and resonating.

Caroline has been a renowned equities analyst in the beverage sector for over 20 years, with tenure at companies including Lehman Brothers, UBS, Schroder and CLSA. Her relationships with senior beverage executives and thought leaders in both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks spaces give her a unique perspective valued by investors and industry players alike.
Nik has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in all aspects of marketing, PR and creative. Nik built and developed Agency TK from a bedroom office in 2001 to a team of 60 talented team players. He has endeavored to create an agency with a difference, focusing on the journey he can take with his employees and the experience he can create for clients.
The inaugural Blue Box was held in beautiful Boulder, CO and featured two half-days of speaker presentations and panels, a guided hike in the Flatiron Mountains, and dinner including a fireside chat with entrepreneur and environmentalist Kimbal Musk at his Boulder restaurant, The Kitchen.
