Blue Box 2017 will be a one-day conference at the historic Annenberg Community Beach House, a seaside venue with spectacular views of Santa Monica’s famed beach. The program will feature short-format talks, panels and fireside chats. The event will conclude that evening with a cocktail reception and dinner at Gjelina, Travis Lett’s Venice hotspot serving New American farm-to-table cuisine in a rustic setting. Agenda coming soon.

Matt found his way to wine in 1995 while waiting tables to support a ski habit in Aspen. Realizing the world of wine was a grand stage, he soon segued into wine sales. In 2001, Matt and sommelier Kevin O’Connor connected while tasting wine in the back alley behind Spago LA and in 2005, relying on nothing more than their palates and their rolodexes, the two founded LIOCO. Today the winery is completely family-owned and all of their fruit is purchased from family-owned vineyards.
Lisa is the visionary behind Beaming, a lifestyle brand on a mission to inspire vibrant wellness in people of all ages. He started his career as the champagne sommelier for the prestigious Bubble Lounge, has served as the cocktail innovator for Think Food Group, led by Chef Jose Andres, and has been involved in several entrepreneurial projects including Sortie, Braai, Colada Shop and Hennessy House of Mixing Academy.
Paddy put himself through Harvard and Harvard Business School with scholarships and a job sorting packages at UPS. After graduating, he started his fight for smarter food options and became VP of sales for Kashi at age 25. Four years later he left to start market research provider SPINS, which he sold in 2004. He was then hired as the president of Levlad, a personal care manufacturer, and has been the CEO of Zevia since purchasing the company in 2010.
